NEW YORK BRIDAL FASHION WEEK - October 2025 - Wedding Dress trend predictions for 2026- 2027
Hi Besties,
Last Year New York Bridal Fashion Week was a total dream and I can’t believe it is almost here again, and I cannot wait to take you along for all the magic ✨
From October 13th–16th, 2025, the streets of New York will be filled with lace, glitter, and tulle. And of course, the Kim M. Wedding Content Creator team will be there, bringing you front-row vibes straight to our IG and TikTok stories.
We’re excited for the entire week, but honestly our hearts are racing for the new collections from Galia Lahav, Thalia Paul, Ines Di Santo, Wona, Idan, and of course… Miss Hayley Paige, who’s finally back!! 🥂
Now, let’s talk bridal trends. Here are my top wedding dress trend predictions for this NYBFW:
1. Basque Waist
Still going strong! This style has been everywhere, and it’s not leaving anytime soon. Expect updated versions: more square shapes, softer points, and even open basque waists. Definitely a “still trending” moment. However, I do believe Basque Waist is very very classic as well.
2. Drop Waist / Asymmetrical
A timeless classic with something different. Perfect for brides who want to highlight their shape without going super “trendy.”
3. Straight Across & Square Necks
So chic and elegant. I predict we’ll see fewer corsets with visible cups/boning and less of the sharp cat-eye necklines. Instead, more coverage, straighter cuts, and necklines that feel both refined and flattering.
4. Chantilly Lace Boleros
Coverage is in, especially for brides having religious ceremonies. Lace boleros are the perfect way to get that modest, elegant look for the aisle, then switch things up for the reception.
5. More Color
We can thank Hayley Paige for this one! Her comeback is bringing the sparkle and the color and I am HERE for it.
6. Detailed Tops + Clean Bottoms
We’ve seen the pendulum swing from minimal gowns to full lace everything, but now brides are ready for a mix. Think lace or embellished bodices paired with sleek, clean skirts. As a bridal stylist, I’ve already had so many brides ask for this look, it feels fresh yet classic.
7. Two (or More) Pieces
One dress, multiple looks. YES, please!
We’ve seen designers like Galia Lahav and Kim Kassas experiment with this, but now designers like Thalia Paul are taking it to the next level. Think: one gorgeous top, multiple skirt/bottom options, and the versatility to transform from ceremony to cocktail hour to dance floor. A total game-changer.

Besties, I’m so excited to share every sparkle, lace detail, and runway moment with you. This season is going to be one for the books. 💕
With Love,
Kim M.
